On February 10, 2025, Green Harvest Energy (GHE) was invited to visit the China Circular Economy Association for an exchange. The visit, led personally by the company’s Chairman, Jiang Chaoxing, aimed to deepen cooperation and communication between both parties in the field of the circular economy. Zhao Kai, Executive Vice President of the China Circular Economy Association, warmly received the delegation and participated in a discussion.


Chairman Jiang Chaoxing introduced the current development status and future plans of GHE’s chemical recycling business for waste plastics. He noted that in recent years, supported by national policies and driven by industry trends, the company has been deeply engaged in the field of waste plastic chemical recycling, achieving significant progress in technological innovation, process optimization, and market expansion. He mentioned that the company’s project in Weifang entered the trial production stage at the end of April this year, with other domestic projects also being launched sequentially. Chairman Jiang stated that, in light of the new opportunities presented by the “dual carbon” goals, the company will be driven by technological innovation and guided by green development to establish itself as a benchmark enterprise in the resource utilization of waste plastics. He expressed his expectation to receive guidance and support from the Association in areas such as policy research, standard setting, technological breakthroughs, and project cooperation.


Executive Vice President Zhao Kai extended a warm welcome to Chairman Jiang Chaoxing and his delegation, and provided an overview of the Association’s work in policy research, standard setting, industrial services, and international cooperation. He expressed his admiration for GHE’s achievements in the resource utilization of waste plastics and emphasized that promoting the resource utilization of waste is a crucial aspect of developing a circular economy. He stated that the China Circular Economy Association will fully leverage its platform advantages to assist enterprises in achieving high-quality development. The Association will actively integrate resources to offer comprehensive services in policy research, standard setting, technology promotion, and project matching, and will engage in in-depth cooperation to jointly promote the high-quality development of the waste plastic resource utilization industry.


Also attending the discussion were Xia Guofu, Secretary-General of the Petrochemical Committee of the China Circular Economy Association, Deputy Secretary-General Shao Jin, and Ma Shuai, Manager of the GHE Investment Development Center.
